Half The Cure – Sufi Reflection
A deep poem about the world and spiritual truth
The Poem
Half the cure
Half the curse
upon the world
and the whole curse
upon the worldly — Hu!
Those who did not spend
in the cause of the Master
will suffer stern judgement — Hu!
Curse be upon the cunning world
that misguides hearts
and blinds the truth — Hu!
Those who shunned the world,
says Bahu,
shall enjoy the gardens
of eternal bliss — Hu!
Half the curse
upon the world
and the whole curse
upon the worldly — Hu!
Those who did not spend
in the cause of the Master
will suffer stern judgement — Hu!
Curse be upon the cunning world
that misguides hearts
and blinds the truth — Hu!
Those who shunned the world,
says Bahu,
shall enjoy the gardens
of eternal bliss — Hu!
